Netistix Technologies (www.netistix.com), a two-year-old venture headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario, recently began marketing its FleetPulse system in the U.S. and Canada. It features a transmitter that plugs into a vehicle’s onboard diagnostics port. When the vehicle enters a Wi-Fi zone at the fleet’s maintenance facility, the transmitter sends data to the maintenance software. “When the vehicle is not in a hot spot,” said John Woronczuk, vice president of sales and marketing. “The vehicle interface unit just continues storing the data – up to 300 driving hours of information.”
