March 2, 2005, Ottawa: Netistix Technologies Corporation today announced that the company has signed its first North American pilot project in the parcel delivery industry, for its FleetPulse vehicle relationship management product with CANPAR Transport LP, one of Canada’s leading parcel delivery firms.

Under the terms of the project, CANPAR is installing the FleetPulse fleet management system in a number of curbside delivery vehicles spanning eight sites across Canada. Specific financial terms of the contract were not released.

The purpose of the pilot project is to produce a baseline of vehicle performance information including data about fuel usage, maintenance information and other factors that CANPAR can use for comparison purposes.

Gordon Echlin, President and CEO of Netistix said that this first pilot is an important milestone for the company. “This is a vote of confidence for our technology and value proposition and we are confident that the results of the trial will impress CANPAR and ultimately produce significant savings for this portion of their fleet.”

Wayne Baker, Director Buildings and Maintenance for CANPAR is looking forward to seeing the results of the pilot project. “The Fleetpulse solution has the potential to offer significant cost savings in fuel consumption, in addition to other operating cost reductions that we are investigating and verifying”
