Agile Access Control to Promote FleetPulse

Fleet Managers to Reap Big Benefits from FleetCommander and FleetPulse Partnership

Netistix and Agile Access Control, Inc., creators of the FleetCommander fleet and motor pool management software, have announced a marketing and integration agreement that will leverage the power of web-based fleet monitoring and telematics technologies to offer tremendous efficiencies to fleet managers in government, commercial and university settings.

May 05, 2006 – DULLES, VIRGINIA – Agile Access Control, Inc., (Agile) creators of the web-based FleetCommander fleet and motor pool software, today announced an agreement with Netistix Technologies to market and integrate with the Netistix FleetPulse vehicle telematics product line. Under the terms of the agreement, Agile will promote the wireless vehicle telematics solution and will integrate the Netistix product with their already-powerful fleet and motor pool software.

Edwin Smith, president of Agile, states, “This is exactly the type of value we strive to offer our customers that use FleetCommander day-in and day-out. Mileage and other data available via the on board diagnostics port (OBDII) is so valuable to fleet managers. Integration between FleetCommander and FleetPulse will enable automatic tripping of maintenance reminders, elimination of man hours required to retrieve odometer data, and will alert fleet managers to potentially costly maintenance issues with the fleet.”

Gord Echlin, CEO of Netistix Technologies welcomed the partnership announcement with Agile Access Control saying it represented another important marketing thrust for the company. “We feel strategic partnerships can extend our market reach substantially. Agile is a market leader and as such we are excited to be entering this agreement with them. It will further accelerate and grow the installed base of our FleetPulse product by showing how easily vehicle performance information that FleetPulse collects, can also feed into other business application platforms.”

The FleetPulse product is a device that plugs into a vehicle’s onboard diagnostic port (OBDII) and collects information on various aspects of the vehicle’s performance and optional GPS location data. The data is then relayed wirelessly to the customer’s network where managers can review and collect data on a single vehicle or an entire fleet and schedule maintenance or other tasks as required. The agreement announced between Agile and Netistix Technologies takes the value proposition one step further by sharing the vehicle information with the FleetCommander fleet and motor pool management software. FleetCommander automatically creates maintenance reminders when vehicle odometer thresholds other key thresholds are exceeded.
